Encaustic monotype video

As you can see from previous posts here and here, one of my favourite uses of encaustic paint is to create monotypes .  I just came across this  video  which is a fine tutorial  by Kathryn Bevier using Enkaustikos encaustics..If you haven't tried encasutic printmaking this would be a great introduction to this versatile medium.   I hope you enjoy it.

If you are interested in encaustic monotypes, check out my 2.5 hour dvd Encaustic Monotypes, Painterly prints with Heat and Wax. It is available on my website RolandWorkshops.com, with clips on the above site and my art site PaulaRoland.com. Encaustic Montotypes are easy and fun, but more serious artists will want some predictability with this wonderfully unpredictable medium. I've specialized int teaching and creating these monotypes for 16 years. Thanks!

I already have your excellent video, Paula. That's what got me started with encaustic monotype. I would recommend it highly.

Wow! This is an incredible piece of art Paula! I didn't realize that you're passionate doing about this stuff. Now encaustic monotype seems to be an interesting activity.
